Rather than trying to tackle many pages at once, aim to learn one letter per lesson.
While it is true that children are good at learning the sounds of English, they are also good at forgetting them. Incorporate a lot of review in each lesson.
Use the accompanying CD to full advantage to expose children to authentic English pronunciation. The CD should be played at set times, such as when getting ready to go to school in the morning, at mealtimes, and before bedtime, as well as when going for a drive. Make use of every opportunity to expose children to English sounds in the most natural way possible.
